This project involved the renovation of a charming character style home in Clayfield, Brisbane. The primary objective was to modernize the property while preserving its original character. The project encompassed both architectural and internal renovations, with a focus on enhancing the home's functionality and livability.

The layout of the internal space was redesigned, including new living room, dining and kitchen to the ground floor and repurposing of the original cottage for the bedrooms, bathrooms secondary living. The focus was on creating a more open-plan living space better suited to modern lifestyles.

The exterior of the property was updated to improve its curb appeal. This included repainting the façade, adding new landscaping features, and updating the driveway and entranceway.

Where possible, the project aimed to restore original features of the home, including hardwood floors, ornate timber work, and stained-glass windows.

The renovation of this character style home transformed it into a modern, sustainable, and functional living space while preserving its original charm. The project included both internal and external renovations, with a focus on enhancing the home's livability and sustainability. The result is a beautiful and functional home that blends the original charm with modern-day living requirements, capturing the essence of contemporary design with classic character.
